I apologize for that annoying hair, I didn't notice it while taking photos haha. These firefighters are from http://www.tin-soldier.com/rpg2.html The sculpts aren't that great...needed a ton of cleanup, and the tools that came with them were so bloody terrible, I refuse to use them. When I find suitable tools or weapons, I'll go back and add them.
These are the best modern US Firefighters I've found though...and I'm decently happy with them now that they're painted. Enjoy!
Firefighter minis are a rare thing indeed. Good find and nicely painted dude!
ReplyDeleteThey took appropriately grim but determined, and a lot better than painted blobs on the website. Do you have the Firefighters with breathers, as some of them look a bit better? I bet you thought you were safe from 'the flock in shot' picture syndrome basing your models on tarmac bases :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you! I don't have the ones with SCBA, but I do have the pack of 'em with Rescue tools, and they are quite decent.
DeleteNicely painted. You've really captured the smoke and dirt look on the uniforms.
ReplyDeleteHonestly, I just grabbed my gear and tried to make the paint jobs look similar.
DeleteSmoke and dirt effects are very well done. Good tributes indeed.
ReplyDeleteThese are an excellent find and very well done. How do they match up with the current 28mms around?
ReplyDeleteThank you! They fit in ok, they're a tad slimmer.
DeleteLove what you've done with the smoke damage on their jackets - wonderful work.
